Kuttu & Kavita: Yoga for inner and outer strength retreat • Bulgarien

Yoga for inner and outer strength retreat

Kuttu and Kavita, the South India travel team, will take you on a journey to your own inner sources of strength.

They have been living and teaching classical yoga for over 30 years and train yoga teachers internationally.

Look forward to a varied program including bodywork, asana classes, inspiring philosophical sessions from Vedanta, directly experiential techniques from Kundalini Tantra Yoga, mantra chanting, and a Kalari martial arts workshop.

Whether you want to try yoga for the first time or you have been practicing for ages and want to dive deeper, we know how to support you with expertise and care.

The program is planned as follows, subject to change:

We start our day at sunrise to make the most of the power of this magical time of day.

After dinner, there will be a short session with mantra chanting or mini workshops, and in between there are usually two asana sessions.

The sessions will be held in English and German.

Investment:

  • €320 per yoga week (plus accommodation, meals, and travel)
  • €670 for accommodation in a single room (EZ) and meals
  • €530 for accommodation in a double room (DZ) and meals
  • €330 for accommodation in a triple room and meals

Note:

This retreat is integrated into our yoga teacher training.

Feel free to reach out if you would like to book Week 1 of our yoga teacher training as an intensive experience. This option is only available for German-speaking participants. Yoga teachers can receive a certificate of participation for continuing education.

Villa Bulgarien

Getting there

Banya is located on the coastal road between Varna and Burgas. In summer, both airports are served. I recommend booking a flight with Wizz Air to Varna as early as possible. From there you can reach Banya by rental car or taxi. During the day, there are hourly buses to Varna and Sunny Beach. (These buses do not stop at the airports.) The bus from Varna to Banya costs €6. PS: Especially in summer, Varna has a lot going on culturally. I recommend extending your stay by a few days in Varna. You can also travel by bus from Germany or by your own car.

The villa

The villa is located on the foothills of the Balkan Mountains, just a few minutes by car from the beautiful Irakli Beach, where nudist bathing is also possible. A pool, sauna, sun loungers, and a trampoline are available. The yoga dome is in planning, and the jacuzzi is almost finished. The villa has a large terrace and a garden. The facilities inside the building are in line with Bulgarian standards. There are 3 double rooms, 1 single room, and 1 triple room. Wi-Fi is available. Washing machines can be used. If we are fully booked, additional accommodation can be arranged nearby.

The village

Experience the authentic side of Bulgaria in our lovely village of Banya. Life moves at a different pace here. The tourist hotspots are not far away, but Banya has been spared from package tourism. The village has two small supermarkets and a restaurant that is only open in summer. There is a turtle rescue center, a yoga retreat house with a bar, drinking water springs, and plenty of nature to explore.
